These bags have a 12 month shelf life before composting begins.

Perfect for grocery or health food stores, these environmentally friendly shopping bags can be used to bring home your groceries and then reused for compostable waste. Uses renewable raw materials of agricultural origin and non-genetically modified starch. Meets ASTM D6400 specifications for compostability. The Biobags are best used for customers to take their produce home in. Since Biobags start to break down when moisture is present, they are not recommended for storing produce.
